With our fundraising program, you are creating a Mobile App Virtual Discount Card (App) which provides special deals at online stores. You may also add local businesses to your App.
Members of your organization will sell yearly subscriptions to friends and family (Supporters). Supporters purchasing your App will enjoy savings when shopping at participating locations.
No investment is required.
Example 1 : www.Dirty-Little-Secret.com offers 40% off its products (cosmetics) when shopping online using their special Code available only to Supporters purchasing your App
Example 2 : Your local pizzeria joins your fundraising program by giving a 10% discount to your Supporters. At the point of sale, your Supporter shows your App and receives a 10% discount.
You can also add local businesses to your App. Ask your team parents, members of your organization, board members etc., to recommend a few local merchants and make your App even more valuable. You will find that local businesses will participate in your program to help your cause but also to increase their traffic.
Local restaurants and eateries are perfect additions to your App. Merchants offer may vary from a percentage off the entire check (recommended) to Buy One Get One Free or Free Soda with purchase and so on. Dry Cleaners, Contractors, HVAC, Florists and other type of merchants are also appealing to people buying your App
When adding a merchant, you simply upload their information online. It will then appear on your App. It is that easy!.

You do not have the time to contact and add local merchants? No problem. The offers that are already uploaded on your App from Restaurant.com and our other partners, provide plenty of value to your App.
Example: The Mustangs Soccer Team wants to sell 1,000 App subscriptions at $20 each. The Fundraiser Administrator builds the Mobile App and creates 1,000 free ACs that will be sold to supporters at $20 each. You may create as many codes as you need.
Cash purchases: Your team members will be able to retrieve ACs that you have created. Supporters buy the code against cash payment.
Credit Card purchases: Supporters can buy your App via secured credit card payment. THIS ALLOWS YOU TO SELL WELL BEYOND FRIENDS AND FAMILY. Tell your team members to offer your App via their social media and reach thousands of potential supporters.
- Your organization does not need to pay any upfront money to start our fundraising program. We charge a fee per code sold of $4 (see 'Pricing')
- Renewals. Every year, prior to expiration date, we automatically swend renewal messages to your supporters. That facilitates renewals.
- When purchasing your App, your supporters will need to enter their name and email address. This is valuable information. Create a database of supporters for renewals and other initiatives.
- You are not limited to sell exclusively to people you know. Post on your /your members' social media and reach thousands of potential supporters.
- Unlike traditional plastic card fundraising, you can sell your app all year round. Your App has an automatic 12 month expiration date which starts from time of purchase.
You determine the price of our App, depending on the number and quality of the businesses participating in your program. A good price benchmark is $20 per subscription. However, you may sell subscriptions anywhere from $10 to $25 each. Our fee per each subscription sold remains the same at $4. Your organization keeps the rest.
The most efficient way to sell your App is to request that each member sells a minimum number of subscriptions. You can set the minimum of 10 or 20 sales per each team member. See the Pricing page for fundraising illustration.
That's right. You can do your fundraising by promoting your organization App on your social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc) and the social media of your members. Reach more people than ever before. It is very simple. Just post the App link and share, share, share. Most of your members/parents have social media accounts. This will increase your exposure!
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR TO SELL YOUR APP?
Although you can sell your App all year round, you may want to create a 2-3 month selling period. So for example you can run your campaign from January through March. Then you will do it again the following year. This will keep your fundraising fresh and relevant for members of your selling team.
However if, for example, you are a large club with multiple sports, you can run several campaigns for the months relevant to each sport (eg. Winter months for football; Spring for Baseball; Summer for Soccer). The expiration date of the subscription will be 12 months from the date the subscription is sold. Therefore a subscription sold in March 2015 will have a March 2016 expiration date while a subscription sold in May 2015 will have a May 2016 expiration date.
REMEMBER, EVERY TIME YOU SELL A SUBSCRIPTION, YOU HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR SUPPORTER INFORMATION. BY CREATING A DATABASE, YOU CAN EASILY RENEW SUBSCRIPTIONS.
